You were born to be free…from the moment you were growing in your mother’s womb*
Everyone on earth carries the mark of their freedom: a bellybutton. Cuddly name for something so symbolic of Life significance…
While in my womb, I nourished , breathed for and carried my son –literally– within the fibers of my being. But the womb is dark, sounds are muffled and the space is limited… he was made for more.
You were made for more….

Welcome! This is part of a #Write31Days Challenge whereby I hope to write a post each day (atleast, that’s the plan). But I’m not so good at doing anything ‘daily’ except waking up, so this is a challenge indeed! (Grace Please!)

Things are going well. You got some sleep, had a moment to shower and are about to start the day. Then it begins…..pressures piling up, minute by minute, moment by moment.
The kids are yelling and whining- each about something different, the baby is crying upstairs for milk, your husband is in bed sick, quick–take a deep breath before you lose it!.. Continue reading “Life like Contractions”
1 Real Woman, 18 photoshopped versions based on cultural preferences. Lesson learned: You’re Beautiful. Period.
We’re all one-of-a-kind, never to be repeated or replaced beings. Don’t be bothered by “standards” which are always changing and never satisfied.
If we want to work on/filter anything, let it be our Kindness and Love. That never goes out of style and does a world of good. Literally.

It’s so easy to take vision and the beauty of color for granted. Watch the video when someone who is colorblind sees purple for the first time. Get a glimpse of how beautiful the world around us actually is. His response to grass broke my blind heart. Continue reading “Watch: Colorblind man sees Purple for the First Time #HeavenGlimpse”
Cinderella had it rough. Grief from losing her mom, a step-mother who treated her like a slave, and a steady stream of insults from snobbish step-sisters. Hard knocks life, with a “happily ever after.”
But what if she knew how her story would end? Continue reading “Cinderella: A note on Humility, Entitlement and Kindness”

But upon closer inspection I found pattern and symmetry: triangular, pointed leaves in Star-formation, interspersed with oval strips. Continue reading “Makes no sense…Strawberry Tops”
Apparently, when seen from above, rainbows are actually CIRCLES! Considering rainbows are noted as symbolizing the promise of God never to wipe out the earth with water again, it seems appropriate that it be a circle, like a ring: never-ending and unbroken, like promises are supposed to be… Continue reading “Rainbows are actually Full Circles!”
