About Heart in Formation: This is a place to lose labels, dump religion, and hopefully find some gems (or just glitter) to shine light on life. My heart is to point to Love and maybe expose a misunderstood (and I think often misrepresented) God. If there is a God, and that God is Love, maybe we’re just one big, wild, broken but beautiful family in progress. Destined for, and covered by, outrageous, personal love.

A bit about me:
Want to get coffee? I’m Jasmine, people-passionate, rainbow-spotting, youth advocate, Drum& Bass lover, who you’ll find geeking on Harry Potter, the New Voltron, Marvel, …anything, and #amwriting every chance I get.

I’m also a “recovering Pharisee” (aka you can be crazy about God and the Bible, but totally miss *His Heart).

Some Issues: Social justice, #NeverAgain, and #NoH8 are on my mind, and I’m most passionate about the fight against child sexual abuse. Ths includes porn exposure and sexual integrity. (1 in 3 kids experience some form CSA, wow.)

Mom of four, married to 1, grateful for all, including a big black chalkboard to keep some sanity and inspiration.

*I use He and His as simple pronouns for God, but fully recognize God with male and female ‘identity,’ (for lack of a better word).
