Need a recap of the Executive Orders (EOs) coming from the Trump White House? I’ve got you.
Trump doesn’t disappoint.
Rewind. On January 20th 2025, Donald Trump was inaugurated into the same White House he arguably tried to sack four years prior, through unprecedented (‘unpresidented?‘) violent-turned-deadly riot by his supporters.
While half of Americans are dumbfounded, or just trying to hold on, the other half applaud every statement and EO gushing like a fire-hose from the White House.
The sheer volume of EOs (or, “Presidential Actions” as the White House has now spun it) make it hard for news media to keep up, much less cover everything. Persons outside the US are getting bare highlights of some of the fashionable items only.
But what’s reported can’t show the real trajectory, including, e.g. mega corporations like Target, Starbucks, Costco, Walmart, Apple, Google, Meta… changing policies, facing lawsuits, or falling in line, calling e.g. the sky purple (eg renaming the Gulf of Mexico)
Would a strong, confident and wise leader be irked of threatened by the name of a landmass or waterway?
With talk of sovereign nation Canada as the 51st State, or taking over Greenland, or the Panama Canal, and now blaming President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for starting the war with Russia (talk about gaslighting), many have realized: we can’t imagine what crazy may be coming down the pipeline.
So for everyone who looked at Democratic and Republican presidential candidates and thought: it’s all the same, or, it’s all bad, check this list below and consider two things:
1. An Executive Order gives insight into someone’s priorities.
Snapshot of Executive Orders on POTUS, here we go.
Day 1 alone had:
Bringing back the the death penalty and expressly charging the Attorney General with seeking it for capital crimes, regardless of the surrounding factors, committed by illegal immigrants. They also ramped up availability of lethal injection drugs for these executions, while banning the needed price caps on prescription drugs ($3,000usd for insulin anyone?)
They removed government inspectors whose sole job (and they were very good at it and feared) was to find and obliterate “waste, fraud and abuse.” They also limit cross national or international corporation on fighting crime.
Trump Pressures Romania to release Brothers Accused of Human Sex Trafficking, check here.
There’s also orders:
Removing background checks for incoming staff (hey, would you like a security clearance?)
Removing diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives (and labeling them as radical)
Expressly targeting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), revoking DEI initiatives, and demanding a hiring freeze..
The last deadly US plane crash was in 2009. Since the Trump 2024 Executive Order there have already been three deadly plane crashes to my knowledge. Ugh.
Apparently the person involved in the crash with the Black Hawk was doing two person’s jobs.
There’s an EO removing USAID, including food to the most vulnerable people and children abroad, a hiring freeze on every vacant position regardless of where in the hiring process they were, to allow, arguably, positions to be filled by a politically “approved” candidates.
Don’t forget the EO ending all remote working for federal employees, despite science showing increased productivity with this post-Covid development. (check this link quick before the White House pulls it!).
Slave-driver much?
Let’s not forget:
The stunning, unconstitutional end to American citizenship of those born in America,
The preparation for deploying American troops within America as a response to the executive order-designated “National Crisis at the Border”
The freeze of all federal loans and grants, including for students and programmes like “Headstart” which gave impoverished children breakfast in schools
Halting ALL in-progress decisions for those who legally entered the US seeking refuge.
A ban, again, on transgenders from serving in the military
Withdrawing from the WHO, UNHCR (United National Human Rights Council), UNESCO, UNRWA (United National Relief Work for Palestinian Refugees)
And rescinding, arbitrarily, all Biden EOs, including on combating climate change.
Finally, not finally, a new government agency was created, ironically charged with to increase efficiency (is it efficient to create a new government agency?), and an EO mandating “restoring names that honor American greatness..”

Many of these EOs are being challenged in the Court system. But that’s a costly, long, and arguably dangerous process. It’s worth noting POTUS just signed an EO stating that he, and the Attorney General “under his supervision and control” determines what is law for the entire Executive Branch and every single employee in this branch of government.
I mean, between renaming land masses and bodies of water, and halting all regulations and new employees, unless they suit him, seems like a Kingship to me.
So take a deep breath and know you have just been updated, though the news isn’t great.
After all the shock and outrage, the Executive Orders all got nice titles that make them sound more positive, good, or necessary.
So hang in there world. For half of America, and the world trying to keep up, or stay sane and safe, I know some of you have dusted off your copy of “Ready for Crazy: Pocket Guide to the End of the World.” It’s got some grip in the event of batsh*t crazy at biblical proportions.
These quotes from the book can help:
“Everything will be OK in the end. If its not OK, it’s not the end.” – John Lennon
2. For everything there is a season…
Ecclesiastes/ “Turn” by The Byrds
3. “There are far, far better things ahead than anything we leave behind.” (C.S. Lewis)
Whatever you do, however you are hanging on, remember: The stars are always shining in the sky, even when we can’t see them. ⚡

"What if that end of the world feeling is real? Wars, rumors of wars, environmental crisis, the gap between rich and poor increasing, famines, even "pestilence" ('infectious or contagious epidemic disease.' Uhh, Covid.. )
Much of what we see in the world is flagged in bible prophecies (did she say bible?), but many of us want nothing to do with that book or "Christians." (BTDT).
Ready for Crazy is a space for anyone, of any (non)belief to explore 16 bible prophecies against the backdrop of our world. There's a handy Checklist, Toolkit, and pop culture references from Harry Potter to the Avengers. Are you ready?"
